Conference Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy

1. General Terms of Participation
By registering for the 47th IAEE International Conference ("IAEE 2026"), hosted in Santiago, Chile from July 19 to 22, 2026, you agree to the following terms:
- All registrations are personal and non-transferable unless approved in writing by the organizing committee.
- Presenting authors must register by June 1, 2026 to be included in the final program.
- Fees are payable in USD. Payments must be received in full before access to the conference is granted.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to make changes to the program, venue, or format (including hybrid/virtual adjustments), if circumstances require.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations received in writing before May 31, 2026 will be refunded, less a processing fee of $75 USD.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations after May 31, 2026.
- Substitutions may be permitted with prior approval.
3. Data Protection and Privacy
We are committed to protecting your personal data. By registering, you consent to the collection and use of your data for purposes related to IAEE 2026, including:
- Communication about the event, program updates, and logistical information
- Badge printing and access control
- Session planning, catering preferences, and optional event management
- Publishing your name and affiliation in the participant list and conference app (optional)
Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties unrelated to the organization of the conference. Data processors such as Dryfta will handle information securely in compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, Chilean Law No. 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life).

4. Media Consent
By participating in the event, you agree that photos and video recordings may be taken during sessions, receptions, or other activities. These materials may be used for IAEE communication, documentation, and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such content, please notify the registration desk onsite.
5. Liability Disclaimer
The IAEE 2026 Organizing Committee and host institution shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property incurred during the conference. Participants are advised to obtain personal travel and health insurance.
